Gift Day 2019 - Thank You!
We are grateful to God for the generous donations that made up the £5,550.13 (when Gift Aid is taken into account) given as part of our Gift Day 2019.
This brings our total in the Building Fund to just under £13,000 and means we are half way towards our redecoration estimate of £25,000-£30,000.
If you would like to help us reach this figure, so that we can redecorate the church (and replace our kitchen), please go to trinityashby.net/appeal or pick up an Appeal 2019 leaflet in church.
This leaflet is a slightly modified version of our Gift Day 2019 leaflet, with all the information someone might need to make a gift to our Building Fund (first for the redecoration of the Church).
Festival, Fair and Festival Cafe
Starting on Saturday 30 November our two week long Christmas Tree Festival launches with out Christmas Tree Fair (10am to 4pm) on Saturday 30 November. This will then be followed up the the Festival Cafe on Saturday 7 December from 10am to 12pm.

Updates
Hope and Remembrance
I am grateful to our Pastoral Assistant, Kathy Hart, who again organised and led our Hope and Remembrance service. This was a moving event, that was helpful to a wide range of people grieving a loved one. Kathy will also be hosting our Remembrance at Christmastime on Saturday 28 December in Holy Trinity, between 10am and 4pm. Drop-in when you can and stay for as long as you want.
Remembrance Sunday 2019
This year we again had our church pillars decorated by our uniformed organisation, and I am grateful to Jo Davies for coordinating this and our uniformed organisations contributions to our All Age Remembrance Sunday Service.
Alpha
Our Alpha Course at 1 Trinity Close will be coming to a close in December. We have seen God at work in many ways through the course, touching and changing lives. In 2020 we will be having an another Alpha course with details to be published in our December Trinity Life.

Praying the Polls
On Election Day, Thursday 12 December, 7:00am–10:00pm at St Helen’s Ashby
St Helen’s will be open all day for anyone ?who wants to come and pray for our nation.
