About us

St Matthew's is a small and welcoming church family with a long history.

Part of the Flagstaff family of churches and served by the Ashby and Breedon team Ministry, St Matthews is the parish church for Worthington, Newbold (Coleorton), Griffydam and Gelsmoor.

Since September 2016 Rev Tim Phillips has overseen the ministry of St Matthew's.

St Matthew's Worthington has close links with Worthington Methodist Church, particularly through their weekly Cafe Church. Please contact Christina Walmsley for more information.
