Minster Community Update

7 pm on Monday, 12 January at Holy Trinity, Ashby. All Welcome. Our Bishop is coming to meet with all the churches in area 2A. In preparation for the meeting we have received some written notes which you can find below.

To prepare, 46 of us met from across the Flagstaff Family of seven churches. You can read more at trinityashby.net/mc2a about that meeting. Since then, Beth Cluer, the Senior Parish Tranistion officer and Facilitation Lead has provided us with a written response to the concerns raised by the Flagstaff Churches, in preparation for Monday's meeting.

Bishop Martyn looks forward to meeting with you on Monday 10th January at Holy Trinity, Ashby. The session will start promptly at 7:00 pm, with refreshments available from 6:45 pm.
 
The purpose of this meeting is to explore a way forward for in the Minster Community formation process for 2A. We appreciate the concerns raised in feedback from your PCCs to the draft proposal and want to discuss these further to enable progress. 
 
We will spend time discussing the questions and concerns raised, while also highlight the parts of the draft proposal that were positive. To help guide the discussion, we have prepared written responses to some of the key themes raised in your PCC feedback and questions sent in by parishes since then. We would be happy to explore these in more detail during the session.
